She was predeceased by: her husband John Thomas McDowell; and her granddaughter Alexa McDowell. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara; her son-in-law David Tedder of Monroe, Louisiana; her sons, John McDowell Jr. of Farmerville, Louisiana and Tom; her daughter-in-law Lori McDowell of Denton, Texas; and her son Richard McDowell of West Monroe, Louisiana. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
