He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wheeler and Onie Mae Booth Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Cherie Hootsell Wheeler; and his children, Vanessa Wheeler, Johnathan Wheeler (Autumn), Rebekah Willyard, Keith Hootsell, Larry Painich, William Painich and Jessica Wheeler. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
