She was predeceased by: her parents, James Monroe Jones and Ora Irene Bond Jones; her son Lanny Franks; and her siblings, Laweese Vallery (Oliver), J. M. Jones, Alaric Jones (Freddie) and Ralph Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Alsey Franks; her sons, Barry Franks (Kim) and Stephen Franks (Teresa); her daughter-in-law Pam Franks; and her siblings, Pat Spurgeon (J. W.), Marlin Jones (Sue), Alvin Jones (Ivah), Garland Jones (Betty) and Larry Jones (Melba). She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
