She was predeceased by: her father Floyd Willis; her husband Reeder Howard Barnett, Jr.; her parent Modenia Rogers Willis; and her siblings, Pelham Willis, Madge Willis Casteel, Melba Jean Willis Pickett, Wayne Willis, Mary Lois Willis Mitchell and Will Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Whitmire (Larry) and Greg Barnett (Andrea); her brothers-in-law, Mickey Barnett and Fred Pilgrim; and her grandchildren, Justin Whitmire (Johnette), Joshua Whitmire, Chase Barnett and Mia Barnett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Akins Funeral Home (13455 Hwy 43, Russellville, AL 35654). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
