He was predeceased by: his parents, Van Calhoun and Cornelia Jenkins Calhoun; his wife Virginia Land Calhoun; his brothers, Arch Calhoun and Jack Calhoun; and his granddaughter Tracey Bell.
He is survived by: his daughter Madeline Owens of West Monroe; his great grandchildren, Katie Meek (Douglas) of Monroe and Tyler Bell of West Monroe; and his sister-in-law Janet Calhoun of Houston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
