He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Otis Williams and Mabel Smith Williams; his wife Violet Annette Tarver Williams; his sons, Ronnie Williams, Donnie Williams and Michael Glen Williams; and his stepfather Cecil Gross.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Dale Williams (Edna), Donna Kay Stroud (Joe), Robert Wesley Williams (Amy), Darrell Eugene Williams (Carolyn) and Alicia Nicole Paulson; his siblings, Otis Williams, Mildred and Joanne; and his sister-in-law Betty Carter (Delma). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
