It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ada Elizabeth Dopson (West Monroe, Louisiana), born in Bossier City, Louisiana, who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Clifton Dopson, Sr.; her son Larry Dopson; her siblings, Francis Bullington and George Barnes; and her former husband George Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Cecil Clifton Dopson Jr. (Jeannie Street) and Elizabeth Anne Dopson Halsell (Robert Halsell); her daughter-in-law Connie Dopson; her grandchildren, Jennifer Satterfield (Todd), Eric Dopson, Lorna Dopson (Jimi Covert), David Halsell, Brian Halsell, Jason Thorn (Kelly) and Scott Thorn (Melissa); and her great grandchildren, Caroline Dopson, Emily Young (Tyler), Christopher Dopson, Orion Covert, Cade, Cole, Kayden, Darin and Chloe Thorn.
