He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norris Mier and Ethel Fontenot; his wife Angela Sexton Mier of Welsh, LA; and his children, Daisy Fredericks (John) of Lake Charles, Dusty Waltner (Chris) of Boise, ID and Stephen Mier (Connie) of Mansfield, TX. He was also cherished by twelve siblings; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
