He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Paul Fontenot II and Mary Lou Leblanc; his sister Mary Fontenot; and his brother-in-law David Benoit. He is survived by: his wife Penny Meche Fontenot; his children, Eva Fontenot and Jessie Fontenot (Brittany); his siblings, Marilyn Benoit, Carolyn Neal and Cleveland "Paul" Fontenot, III; and his grandchildren, Wyatt, Jessie, Olivia, Mary, Caroline and Raevyn.
