She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Louviere and Una Broussard Louviere; her husband Albert Gene Ellison; her siblings, Geneva Meyer, Mary Louviere and Harold John Louviere; her grandson Dustin Parker; and her nephew Arnold "Buddy" Meyer, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Gene Thomas, Sharon Elaine, Arlene Marie, Randall Paul, Gerald Albert and John Edward; and her goddaughter Cheryl Louviere Squire. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
