She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldridge Ardoin and Elvina Bourgeois Ardoin; her husband Etienne Motte; her sons, Roger and David Matte; and her great grandchildren, Faith Guidry, Charlie, Eli Matte and Blake Gotreaux.

She is survived by: her children, Dana Matte (Diana) and Betty Motte Olmsted (Earl); and her daughter-in-law Joan Matte. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
