He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Mallett and Eliza Mallett (Monceaux); his wife Vera Joy Mallett; and his brothers, Eugene and Clyde Mallett.
He is survived by: his children, Katrina Cunningham (Johnny) of Sterlington, LA, Patrick Mallett (Cheryl) of Welsh and Bradley Mallett of Welsh; his siblings, Milton Mallett (Wanda Faye), Wilson Mallett (Vickie) and Lillie Brown; his grandsons, Neil and Matthew Mallett; his great grandchildren, Caden, Toryn and Leon Mallett; and his pets, Rip, Ravin and Izzy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson & Brown Funeral Home (505 US-90, Iowa, LA 70647). A rosary will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
