It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Hughes Cody (Watson, Louisiana), who passed away on June 11, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Cody; her siblings, Alton Cody, Evelyn Stevens, Frances Hughes, Wanda Davis and Isabell Eldridge; and her grandson Josh Cody.

She is survived by: her friend Viola Hughes Cody; her children, John Cody (Cheri), David Cody (Donna) and Marcia Fauver; her grandchildren, Matt Cody, Misty Sharpe, Christy Gardner, Jessica Semons, Marissa Fauver and Jacob Fauver; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kensey Sharpe, Presley Fauver, Tristan, Ayden, Avery Semons and Shane Fauver; and her brother Wilton Hughes.
