We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2021, at the age of 59, Simmitt Bankston Jr. of Watson, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Brandon Bankston of Arkansas. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Shanks Bankston; his daughter La'Riene Orillion (Rodgest); his grandson Wyatt Lane Orillion; his parents, Simmitt Bankston Sr. (Lynn) and Edna Gordon Evans; and his siblings, Donna Bankston Priest of Charleston, SC, Tim Bankston (Katrina), Chris Bankston (Dusty) and Tom Jones (Sheila). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to Cornerstone Reform Church Building Fund. Donations can be mailed to the church address above.
