He is survived by: his wife Opal White Tyler; his children, Calvin Tyler, Donald Tyler, Kay Tyler and Robin Tyler Moore (David); his sisters, Lola Hogeland, Mildred Dickerson and Kay Stovern; and his grandsons, Todd Truax, Kenneth Flores, Brad LeBlanc, Michael Tyler, Charlie Hebert and Carlton Erwin. He is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
