It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rachel Jeanee Cain of Watson, Louisiana, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her sons, Owen Cain and Emmitt Cain; her mother Daureen Jeanette Jones; her siblings, Rebekah Jones, Matt Jones (Amber), Wesley Jones and Dallas Jones; and her in-laws, Chris Eric Cain, Cindy Cain, Brandon Cain, Zachary Cain, Ava Lynn Cain and Tiny DeMoss.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brandon G Thompson Funeral Home (7738 Florida Blvd, Denham Springs, LA 70726). A memorial service was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

“I will always remember the first time I meet Rachel in Foley, AL. She had come to an archery torment with Tyler and his parents. Rachel seemed a little quite around the silliness that happens when archers get together for the first time in 6 months. But did manage to get in a few zingers of your own and that made me laugh. I enjoyed watching you grow and become an amazing lady and mother to Owen and Emmitt. You will be missed on those archery weekends as you became family to me as well.”
