With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Curtis Joseph Hidalgo of Watson, Louisiana, who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hidalgo and Eve Hidalgo (Philippe); and his siblings, Raymond "R. J." Hidalgo, Joseph "J. P." Hidalgo, Mary Jane Volz (Robert) and Mary Lee Miletello (Tadon).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly "Jean" Hidalgo; his children, Debra Goins (Justin), Janice Meades (Jesse "Bo"), Deanna Lentz (Thad) and Kevin Hidalgo (Laurie); his grandchildren, Mitchell Allen (Shannon), James Peavy, Amanda Peavy, Bryan Allen (Jennifer), Christopher Lentz (Casey), Lexi Lentz (Adam Lapeyrouse) and Morgan Hidalgo; his great grandchildren, Christian Allen, Caiden Allen, Sierra Gordon, Zaven Gordon, Ja'Lynn Peavy, River Peavy, Remy Allen and Ellie Lentz; and his siblings, Ruby Rayburn, Gloria Genusa, Deloris Conlee, Frank A. Hidalgo (Kathy) and Billy R. Hidalgo (Debbie).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in C.J.'s name to the Samaritan's Purse or Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe, LA.
