It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calinda Jean Pettit Brou of Watson, Louisiana, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Pettit and Marvell Pettit; her father-in-law Ronald Brou, Sr.; and her brother-in-law Johnnie Avants. She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Shorty" Brou, Jr.; her sons, Michael Roberson (Heather), Jason Roberson (Marsha Cook) and Richard Paul Brou (Erica); her grandchildren, Alan Roberson, Katelynn Roberson, Triston Roberson, Kaylie Roberson, Mason Roberson, Cailyn Brou and Brayden Brou; her great grandchild Bentley Roberson; her brother Gary Pettit (Jane); her stepmother Arsie Pettit; her stepbrothers, David Valeros (Veronica) and Eddie Valeros; and her sister-in-law Sybil Humphries (Robin). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
