With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeanette Marie Pounds Minard of Waterproof, Louisiana, born in Clayton, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jeanette Marie Pounds shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jeanette Marie Pounds farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her son Chester Frank Finley; her siblings, Pat Pounds, Charles Pounds, Mike Pounds, Elizabeth Lee and Robert Pounds of Vidalia, LA.; her cousin Sandra Keyes of Waterproof, LA; her stepsons, Randolph Minard (Pat) and Jay Minard; and her daughter-in-law Marilyn Finley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Highland Park Cemetery.
