He is survived by: his wife Dolores Powell Black of Waterproof, LA.; his children, John Black (Samantha) of Waterproof, LA. and Jennifer Brackin (Mike) of Choudrant, LA; and his grandchildren, Ian Black, Tyler Brackin, Jamie McHaffie (Larry), Shelby Dofflemyer (Donald), Sydni Clark (Corey), Heather Brackin, Audrey Brackin and Sarah Brackin.
