She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Smith; her daughter Carolyn Smith Arceneaux; her son-in-law James Arceneaux, Jr.; her parents, Laney Thomas Walker, Sr. (L. T.) of Waterproof, Louisiana. and Irene Rabb Walker; and her brother Laney Thomas Walker, Jr..
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Becca Weeks, William of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Michael Arceneaux, Lindsey of St. Joseph, Louisiana, Dr. Emma Lensing, Dr. Gabe of Oxford, Mississippi., Laney Elizabeth Weeks, Allie Katherine Weeks, Emery Walker Weeks, Connor Michael Arceneaux, James Gabriel Lensing, Claire Elizabeth Lensing and Kate Carlisle Lensing.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Legion Memorial Cemetery (1086 LA-605, Newellton, LA 71357).
