She was predeceased by: her parents, Birdell Florence and Andrew Florence; her siblings, Louana Gaylord, Lorena Clinton, Mary Catlin, Birdell Ivey and Andrew Florence, Jr.; and her grandson Robert James Guidroz, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Edward Harris III (Brenda), Marilyn Harris of Baytown, TX, Julie Harris of Beaumont, TX, Melody Jones (Lourel) of Rosharon, TX, Kathy Harris of Houston, TX and Janette Harris of Washington, LA; and her sisters, Betty Sheridan, Margarite Williams, Ruby Borenstein and Helen Collins.
