He is survived by: his wife Ruby Isles Harrell of Palmetto, LA; his sons, Kirt Daniel Harrell of New Orleans, LA and Craig Glenn Harrell (Danielle) of Slidell, LA; his siblings, Lionel Harrell (Mamie) of Tylertown, MS, Andrew Harrell (Evelyn) of New Orleans, LA, Harold Hammond, Jr. (Lynette) of Chicago, IL, Frances Ellzey (Clinton) of Tylertown, MS and Phyllis Walker (Nelson) of Chicago, IL; his stepsister Barbara Cotton; his half-sister Tomora Dennis; his sister-in-law Pamela Harrell of Slidell, LA; and his grandchildren, Kirt Harrell, Jr., Courtney Denise Harrell and Dominique John. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
