He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sims and Victoria Adam Sims. He is survived by: his son Milton Sims Jr.; his siblings, Mary Louise Jackson and Lionel Sims Sr.; his grandsons, Eldridge D. Ursin Jr. and Milton Sims III; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Ursin and Eleazar Ursin.
