It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Menard of Washington, Louisiana, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Percy Joseph Menard; her parents, Clarence Broussard and Ethel Cormier; her brothers, Van Roy Broussard and Charles Broussard; her niece Melissa Hollier Meche; her godsons, Codey James Higginbotham and Victor John Broussard; and her close friend Eric Lavergne.
She is survived by: her sisters, Martha Turner, Barbara Hollier, Daisy Higginbotham and Brenda Lavergne; and her close friends, Woody Wedlock and Patricia Sonnier Burleigh. She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews; 25 great-nieces and nephews; and 16 great-great-nieces and nephews.
