He is survived by: his wife Florence Leday Tanner of Opelousas, LA; his children, Bobby Tanner (TaKisha) of Richmond Hill, GA, Leonard Tanner, Jr. (Claudine) of Cibolo, TX, DeQuincy Tanner of Opelousas, LA, Jamie Tanner of Opelousas, LA, Carla Lavergne (Hilton) of Opelousas, LA and Marcelina Owens (Mark, Sr.) of Prairie Ronde, LA; his sister Florence C. Tanner of Lebeau, LA; and his nephews, Calvin Tanner, Michael Leday and James Young, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
