He was predeceased by: his wife Amanda Bailey; his parents, Charles Bailey Sr. and Mary Francis Bailey-Marsh; and his sister Veronica Reed. He is survived by: his children, Lawrence Bailey Jr. and Michele Bailey; his siblings, Patricia Marsh-Edinburgh, Charles Bailey Jr., Henry Marsh, Joseph Marsh, George Marsh and Eddie March Jr.; his grandchildren, Lawrence Baily III, Niayonda Bailey, Natrelle Bailey and Ronnie Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Samira Bailey, Lawrence Bailey IV, Ka'Miri Green and Azari Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
