He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Bob and Rose Lee Bob; and his sister Lois Bob. He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Bob of Opelousas, LA and John Joseph Bob, Jr. of Opelousas, LA; and his sisters, Jessie Holmes of Houston, TX and Verna Mae Bob of Beaumont, TX. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
