He is survived by: his wife Hilda Hammonds; his daughters, Helen Purifoy of El Dorado, AR, Beverly Johnson (Lane) of Washington and Debra Farrar (Ted) of Bastrop, LA; his siblings, Sylvia Lady of Oklahoma and Collins Hammonds of Bastrop, LA; his grandsons, Brian Qualheim, Matthew Farrar and Steven Farrar; and his great grandchildren, Maddie, Hannah, Cody, Elijah, D. J. and Spartan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
