He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Lastrapes Bailey and Helen Blackwood Bailey; and his siblings, J. W. Bailey, Joseph Wesley Bailey and Helen Carrie Wentworth Bailey.
He is survived by: his niece Evelyn B. Hanna (David); his nephew Jonas W. Bailey (Mary); his great-nieces, Mariah H. Hazley (Jason), Rebecca H. Westerman (Daniel), Jeanette H. Pang (Brandon) and Rachael Bailey; his great-nephew Abram Bailey (Helen); his sister-in-law Jeanette B. Bailey; and also, Liam Hazley, Felix Bailey, Flyn Bailey, Harper Hazley, Margot Pang, Maisie Westerman, Julie Burrage and Alice Bailey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (Washington Garden Club) (308 Church St, Washington, LA 70589). A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (702 Cedar Hill Dr, Washington, LA 70589).
He will be remembered for his contributions to his community and his love for the outdoors.
