He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Curette, Sr. and Ester Barnes Curette. He is survived by: his son Sanplice Simien (Shameka) of Palmetto, LA; his significant other Rhonda Coroner of Evergreen, LA; his siblings, Matthew Curette, Jr. (Tonya) of Gautier, MS, Jerome Jefferson Curette (Nancy) of Palmetto, LA, Betty Jo Armstrong of Beaumont, TX, Faye Thierry (Robert) of Palmetto, LA, Twerela Thomas of Marrero, LA and Evelyn Harrison (Herbert) of Palmetto, LA; and his godchild Danielle Jackson of Marrero, LA. He is also survived by three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
