She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Alton Williams, Sr.; and her nephew Jayden Williams Gillespie. She is survived by: her husband Quentin A. Prejean of Washington, LA; her mother Betty J. Vallot-Williams of San Diego, CA; her children, DeQuintin Royal Prejean of Washington, LA and Jaloni Tana Howard of Lafayette, LA; her siblings, Joseph Williams, Jr. of Houston, TX, Karen Cormier (Dexter) of Las Vegas, NV and Debra Wuilkins of Phoenix, AZ; and her granddaughter Jalayah Tezeno of Lafayette, LA.
