With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Damita Thompson of Washington, Louisiana, who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Milton Thompson and Althea Thompson; her grandmother Mary Hill; and her sister Vanessa Thompson Jacobs. She is survived by: her husband Elvis Smith; her sons, Chavaes Thompson (Akie) and Isaac Davis (Taneshia); and her grandchildren, Arianne Akia Williams Thompson and Messiah King Williams. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, extend family and close friends.
