She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Charles Brown, Sr.; her close friend Lionel DeBouse, Sr.; her parents, Edna Guimont Lewis and Jacob O. Lewis, Jr.; her son Robert C. Brown, Jr.; and her siblings, Jacob O. Lewis, III (Hester), Roland Lewis (Sylvia) and Sylvia Williamson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Constance M. Callender (Jackie), Karen A. Brown and Doreen B. Hood; her brothers, Alvin Lewis (Rosalie) and Donald Lewis (Ivory); her grandchildren, Joseph Anderson, Tamara Kennedy (Daitrone), Kia Price (Kalvin), Jackie Callender, Jr., Monique Brisco (Rodney) and Karina Allen; and her great grandchildren, Derrineisha, Joseph Anderson V, Jo'Shaniqua Anderson, Jonae Anderson, Aronde, Alyssa Lloyd, Miriam, Leah Kennedy, Kailey, Kaiden Price, Samuel P. Felton, IV, Madison, Morgan and Rodney Brisco. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
