He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Jones and Onezia Devillier; his siblings, Kurt Joseph Jones, Amaise Cahanin, Ruby Guidry, Thelma Dupre, Neva Johnson and Theresa Fisher; and his grandson Jacque Cline Deville.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Joyce Jones of Washington; his children, David "Newt" Jones of Washington, Gene Jones (Andria) of Washington, Chad Guidry of Opelousas, Janice Landry (Ray) of Lafayette and Kathy Vidrine (Dale) of Opelousas; his siblings, Curry Jones of Washington and Betty Fruge of Washington; and his great grandchildren, Audriana Merritt, Zayne Jones and Karli Rae Robin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
