He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Meredith Cowsar and Margaret Josephine Ingalls; and his sister Margaret Waid. He is survived by: his children, Robert Cowsar (Lauren) and Meredith Metzger (Jeff); and his brothers, Donald Cowsar (Carol) and Harlon Cowsar (Mildred). He is also survived by four grandchildren.
