She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Shields and Viola Shields (Gautreau); her husband Harold Thomas Prestenbach; her daughter June P. Hurst; and her brothers, Danny Shields and Edward "Sonny" Shields.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Prestenbach, Jr. (Diana) and Linda P. Waller; her grandchildren, Tanya, Diane, Phillip, Tammy, Harold Lee and Tim; and her siblings, Edgar "Mickey" Shields, Sidney Shields, Patricia Snyder, James Shields, Freddie Shields and Cynthia Shields. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
