With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon B. Hunter of Walker, Louisiana, born in Ringgold, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Addis Blake and Audrey Gray; and her siblings, Barbara Wallingsford, Catherine Brown, Charlotte Coker and Larry Blake.
She is survived by: her husband Robbie L. Hunter, Sr.; her children, Darlene Doss (Jim), Randy Fowler, Donny Owens and Robbie Hunter, Jr. (Shelly); her grandchildren, Grayson Doss (Edie), Melissa Carley (John-Michael), Josh Doss, Jessica Owens, Blake Owens, Briana Owens, Bobbie Anne Fowler, Michael Fowler, Taylor Felder (Christian) and Jathen Hunter; her siblings, Maxine Morgan, Tammy Blake and Mark Blake (Nita); and her sister-in-law Diane Booty. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McKneely Funeral Home (110 E Factory St, Amite City, LA 70422). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
