She is survived by: her mother Janie Hawkins of Oak Grove, Louisiana; her son Jessie Shoemaker, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Donna Shoemaker of Hampton, Georgia; her sons, Brian Shoemaker of Brandon, Mississippi, Christopher Burch of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Jeremy Burch of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her siblings, Dwayne Hawkins of Dallas, Texas, Sabrina Didier of Dallas, Texas and Carla; and her brother-in-law Shelby Ainsworth of West Monroe, Louisiana.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
