He was predeceased by: his mother Effie Robinson Sasser; his brothers, Louis Charles Sasser and Gary Charles Sasser; and his son-in-law Jimmy Hollowell. He is survived by: his father Charles Sasser; his wife Hilda Sibley Sasser; his children, Diane Sasser Hollowell and Michael Carl Sasser; his granddaughters, Brittany Sasser Strother (Kyle), Katilyn "Katie" Michelle Hollowell and Lauren Elizabeth Sasser; his great grandchildren, Ella Koczrowski, Londyn Strother and Landus Strother; and his brother Eual Charles Sasser. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Revival Temple (28521 Walker South Rd, Walker, LA 70785).
