He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Populis and Beulah Populis; and his stepson Donald Greg Smith. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Populis; his sons, Lance Populis and Lester Jenkins (Michelle); and his stepsons, Gary Smith (June) and Jeff Smith (Arely). He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
