She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Thomas R Newsom; her children, Heather Ann Seals (Allen Seals) and Robert A Schroeder; her stepson Kirk W Newsom (Deirdre Newsom); her daughter-in-law Jackie Gordon Nickens; her granddaughter Kimzey Delain Schroeder; her father Charles Wayne Rockwell (Beatrice); her siblings, Credic Charles Rockwell (Darlene), Bruce Rockwell, Frank Flowers (Tammy Flowers), David Flowers, Susan Bass (Mike) and Shawnta Rockwell McGowan (Ronnie); her mother Patsy S. Flowers; her grandparents, Charles David Rockwell and Wanda Leigh Rockwell; and her stepfather Melvin C. Flowers. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
