He is survived by: his spouse Avonia Whiddon; his grandmother Betty Douglas of Slidell, Louisiana.; his mother Susan Butler Hickes; his stepfather James Hicks, III (Butch); his sibling Trisha Whiddon DeMars (Gerald); and his nieces and nephews, Nicholas Moreau, Zachary Moreau, Jilliyn DeMars, Addisyn DeMars, Alexis Whiddon and Ashton Whiddon.
