He was predeceased by: his child Judge Evans; his parents, Alfred Brown and Hilda Brown; his brother Ferdinand; and his grandchild Verdell Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara M. Brown; his children, Roland Brown, Jr., Cynthia Brown, Michael Brown, Pamela King, Randy Brown and Ronald Evans; and his siblings, Evangelina Brown, Wilfred, Melvin, Alton, Verdell, Vernon and Ervin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
