He is survived by: his spouse Lillian Holmes; his children, Sharon, Cassandra and Richard Holmes, Jr.; his siblings, Carl Holmes, Calvin Herron (Shawna), Barbara Herron, Kenneth Herron, Floyd Holmes, Lionel Holmes, Andrew Gibbs and Rosalyn Herron; and his siblings-in-law, James Moland (Felicia), John Johnson (Sarah), Joe Johnson, Edward Johnson, Carl Johnson (Classie) and Shellie Johnson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
