She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Gaston and Madge Gaston; her siblings, Joan Kappel and Carroll Kappel; and her brother-in-law Donald Bourg.
She is survived by: her children, Vancena Cardinale (Craig), Erika Breaux (Talise) and Joshua Breaux (Heather); her grandchildren, Madeline, Chloe, Alexandra, Sophia, Charlotte, Nee-Nee, Kyndel, Blake, Avrey, Jarrison and Triston; her sister Liz Bourg; and her nieces, Nicole and Sarah.
