She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. William H. Payton; her child Evans Jenkins; and her parents, Wilford Jeffcoat and Elizabeth Jeffcoat. She is survived by: her children, Joel L. Jenkins (Pasty) of Cullen, LA, Roosevelt Jenkins of Baton Rouge, LA, Thomas L. Jenkins (Lisa) of Waggaman, LA and Albert B. Payton of Waggaman, LA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
