He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Stubblefield and Ruby Stubblefield; and his siblings, Elmer Stubblefield, Jr, Charles Edward Stubblefield and Eva Ruth Burke.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Stubblefield; his children, Troy Vernon Stubblefield, Jr (Vickie) of Bossier City, LA., Pamela Sneed of Blanchard, LA and Barbara Pearson (Patrick) of Haughton, LA; and his sister-in-law Vesta Reed of Bossier City, LA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerus nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to The Shriners Children's Hospital, 3100 Stamford Ave., Shreveport, LA 71103 or to Ferry Lake Baptist Church, P. O. Box 278, Oil City, LA. 71061.
