It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Wayne Mason of Vivian, Louisiana, born in Mansfield, Louisiana, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Mason and Jewel Mason; his siblings-in-law, Lester and Alice Strahan; his sons, Roland W. Mason Jr. and Les Mason; his granddaughter Tierney Mason; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Cash, Marvin Lessman Jr., David and Peggy Kimbel.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Mason; his children, Rolicea (Kenny Shaw) of Ida, Rodney (Tammy) of Vivian and Brent (Connie) of Vivian; his daughter-in-law Carla Mason of Blanchard; his sisters, Kathyrn Lessman of Dallas, TX and Glenda Cash of Bossier City, LA; his grandchildren, Ken Shaw, Leslie, T. J. Martin, Brittany Mason, Jordi, Wade Thompson, Jacqueline Shaw, Daniel, Chelsea Mason, Jenna Mason, Rafe Mason and Kailey Mason; and his great-grandkids, Miley Martin, Braylen Hindsman, Addy Martin, Julian Martin and Chloe Mason. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
