He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harlan Haynes Sr. and Evelyn Hale Haynes; and his brother Jerry Hale Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Tomye Sue Little; his sister Connie Haynes Thomason; his brother-in-law Steve Little (Nita); his son John; his children-in-law, Bonny of Argyle, Texas, Mark of Aubrey, Texas and Sylvia of Benton, Louisiana.; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Lawson (Jason Lawson), John Harlan Haynes IV, Trevor Green (Allison Green), Madelyn Haynes, Drew Haynes, Katie Haynes, Carly Haynes, Sarah Haynes and Claire Haynes; and his great grandchildren, James, Elizabeth Sue and Owen. He is also survived by his bird dogs.
